Question: Where are the Editor League Channels?
Answer: The Editor League channels are closed to move attention away from the League and towards other events in our server in between seasons. The channels will reopen once a new season is announced.

Question: How do we choose our teams?
Answer: You may submit a form outlining the members of your team in Create a Team.

Question: What is the Editor League?
Answer: This is an editing contest in the format of a team-based tournament.

Question: How long will each bracket go on for & how much time do we have to edit?
Answer: Specific times will be announced in Events

Question: Can we have teams with less/more than 3 people?
Answer: No, You can only have 3 and a substitute.

Question: Should I participate if there is a strong team that I think will win?
Answer: Yes, participation is encouraged. Each round limits teams to a specific song genre, increasing difficulty and evening the playing field as you progress in the tournament. This format challenges similar editing styles and lowers the skill ceiling, making the contest more competitive for everyone.

Question: I don't know what this obscure genre is, how am I supposed to find this type of music?
Answer: We will link some albums of creators from the specific genre as examples, you may use those songs or find others.

Question: How do I know what's going on behind the scenes?
Answer: You can refer to Bracket to check the current teams competing.

Question: What if my submission time is up?
Answer: The rest of your team can submit their work if for some reason you were unable to participate in the round, this will still put you at a disadvantage. If you are not knocked out, failing to participate in the next round will result in non-cooperative teammates being suspended from participating in future seasons.

Question: Does our team edit to the same song?
Answer: Yes, your team must use 1 song, and the delivered product must be a single stitched together, fully fledged video (MEP).

Question: Why are consolidation rounds ( leaderboard elimination rounds ) used in the contest?
Consolidation rounds have been incorporated since Season 2.
Answer: Consolidation rounds help preserve the competitive balance of the league when a team withdraws during the competition. These rounds ensure fairness by eliminating teams based on the lowest scores, continuing until the remaining teams can adequately populate the next bracket level. (This can be the case when for example: a team drops out leaving only 3 remaining teams competing for their place in the finals)
