What is Visionary Battles?
Visionary Battles is a competitive editing event hosted by Visionary Studios. Editors compete in challenges, earn points, and fight for a spot in the Finals.

When does Visionary Battles start?
Visionary Battles begins on September 25, 2026.

When do sign-ups open?
Sign-ups officially open on September 18, 2026, alongside the Visionary Battles trailer.

Is it free to enter?
Yes. There is no entry fee to participate in Visionary Battles.
​
How does the competition work?
Editors compete in a Group Stage and earn points based on their submissions. The editors with the highest total scores advance to the Finals.

Who decides the points?
Voting comes from the Visionary community and selected Visionary members who are not participating in the competition.

What can I use in my edit?
You may only use the clips provided by Visionary Battles. Each challenge may also have additional requirements that must be followed.

Can I get help from another editor?
No. Your submission must be created entirely by you. Outside editing assistance is not allowed.

What software can I use?
You can use any editing software unless a specific challenge states otherwise.

What happens if I miss a deadline?
Submissions must be delivered before the deadline for each challenge. Late submissions may receive no points.

Where will challenges and updates be announced?
Challenges, deadlines, voting, results, and other important information will be announced through the Visionary Studios Discord server.

What happens if someone breaks the rules?
Depending on the violation, Visionary Studios may issue a point penalty or disqualify the participant from Visionary Battles.
