Visionary Battles Rules

Use the Visionary Community Intro
Every submission must include the provided Visionary Community intro.
Only Use Provided Clips
You must use the clips provided for each Visionary Battles challenge.
No Outside Clips
Clips or footage that were not provided by Visionary Battles cannot be used.
Follow the Challenge
Each round will have its own challenge and requirements. Your submission must follow the instructions provided for that round.
No Outside Help
All work must be completed by you. You cannot receive editing assistance from anyone outside the competition.
Submit Before the Deadline
All submissions must be sent before the deadline given for each challenge. Late submissions may receive no points.
Original Work Only
Your submission must be your own work. Using another editor's project, work, or passing someone else's work off as your own will result in disqualification.

Voting & Points

Scores will come from two groups: the Visionary community and selected Visionary members who are not participating in the competition.

Each challenge earns participants points that contribute toward their overall Visionary Battles standings.

Community Voting
The community will vote on the submissions from each challenge.
Visionary Judges
Selected Visionary members outside the competition will also judge each submission and award points.
Points Add Up
Points earned throughout the Group Stage are added to each participant's total score.
Leaderboard
Participants will be ranked based on their total points across the challenges.
Advancement
The editors with the highest total scores at the end of the Group Stage will advance to the Finals.
Voting Manipulation
Asking people to vote for you, using alternate accounts, bots, or attempting to manipulate voting in any way is not allowed and may result in a point penalty or disqualification.
Final Decisions
Visionary Studios has the final say on scoring disputes, rule violations, ties, and disqualifications.
